IMPORTANTE: La Dirección Nacional de Migraciones informó que, a partir del 28/09/2016, las personas extranjeras nativas de países de MERCOSUR o EXTRAMERCOSUR que ingresen al país como turistas -cuando exista exención de visado para tal fin-, podrán cursar estudios formales sin necesidad de cambiar su situación migratoria u obtener su visa previo a su ingreso al país, siempre que las actividades tengan una duración menor a noventa (90) días. Por estadías mayores, deberán solicitar el correspondiente visado ante nuestras oficinas.

VISA ESTUDIANTE TRANSITORIO NO MERCOSUR / NON MERCOSUR TRANSIT STUDENT VISA

Quienes soliciten ingresar a la República Argentina por un plazo de hasta 1 año con el objeto de realizar estudios no formales (estudios parciales, intercambio cultural, intercambio estudiantil, pasante o becario) en instituciones oficiales públicas o privadas / People who intend to carry out non formal studies (partial studies, cultural exchange, student exchange, scholarship or internship) for up to a year.

El trámite es personal y se deberá presentar la siguiente documentación (en original y fotocopia) / Applicants must submit the following documents in original and copy, personally at our consular office:

• Pasaporte vigente / Valid passport
• Dos (2) fotografías 4x4 cm, de frente, a color, fondo blanco / Two (2) current 4 x 4 cm. colour photo, front view, white background.
• Formulario de solicitud de visa completo (preferentemente en forma electrónica) y firmado por el solicitante / Original Visa Application Form, all fields completed –electronically, if possible- without scratches or corrections and duly signed. 
• Constancia electrónica de reserva de vacante (Preinscripción Electrónica de Datos), gestionada por la Universidad argentina requirente ante la Dirección Nacional de Migraciones, en la cual conste el número de inscripción en RENURE de la entidad educativa* (IMPORTANTE: NO ES LA CARTA DE ACEPTACIÓN QUE LA UNIVERSIDAD ENVÍA) / Electronic certificate issued by the educational institution at the National Inmigration Office in Argentina, containing RENURE registration number*. 
• Programa de estudios expedido por la universidad argentina/ syllabus from university in Argentina
• De ser menor de edad, autorización expresa de uno de sus progenitores o tutor legal / f under legal age, formal authorization from parents or legal tutor.
• En caso de estadia superior de seis (6) meses: 1. Certificado de antecedentes penales FEDERALES del país donde haya residido durante los últimos diez (10) años, apostillado. / For people sixteen (16) or over, at the time of entering the National Territory, a FEDERAL certificate of lack of criminal records from their country of origin or from the countries where they have lived during the past ten (10) years, with proper Apostille, 2. Acta de nacimiento apostillada / Birth certificate with the proper Apostille. 3. De haber residido en la República Argentina, certificado de antecedentes penales de Argentina (solicitar cita para su obtención en este Consulado) / If you lived in Argentina and have sixteen (16) or over years old, certificate of lack of criminal records from Argentina.
• En caso de becas y pasantías: Nota certificada del organismo invitante y acreditación del convenio que regula la beca o pasantía / If you're applying for internship or scholarship, certified note from the host institution in Argentina and copy of its regulatory agreement.
• Acreditación de medios económicos suficientes para solventar estadía y estudios (resumen de cuenta bancaria, tarjetas de crédito con estado de cuenta u otro)/ Proof of funds for self-support within the whole stay (credit cards with its statement and/or bank statements).
• Nota de la Universidad local que acredite ser alumno regular y carrera en curso. Note from the local University certifying being a regular student and the career in progress.

*NOTA: la entidad educativa debe estar inscripta en el Registro Único de Requirentes de Extranjeros (RENURE) dependiente de la Dirección Nacional de Migraciones de la República Argentina. En caso de no encontrarse inscripto en RENURE, se agradecerá comunicarse al 4317-0200/0303/0337 a fin de efectivizar la inscripción./ *NOTE: educational institution must be registered in RENURE (National Inmigration Office). If not registered, the host must contact 4317-0200/0303/0337.

EL SÓLO CUMPLIMIENTO DE LOS REQUISITOS MENCIONADOS NO GARANTIZA EL OTORGAMIENTO DE LA VISA, SIENDO ESTA UNA PRERROGATIVA EXCLUSIVA DEL ESTADO ARGENTINO/ THE FULFILLMENT OF THE REQUIREMENTS MENTIONED DOES NOT GUARANTEE THE GRANTING OF THE VISA, BEING AN EXCLUSIVE PREROGATIVE OF THE ARGENTINE STATE.

La enumeración precedente no es taxativa y la autoridad consular podrá requerir documentación adicional al solicitante del visado, según lo estime pertinente / The Consular authority could require the applicant to submit extra documentation, if needed.

El solicitante deberá atravesar una entrevista personal con la autoridad consular, sin excepción / Applicant will be interviewed by the consular authority without exception.

Para iniciar el proceso de solicitud de visa debe remitir la documentación completa en un único archivo en formato PDF a la casilla de correo intitucional visas_cpcar@cancilleria.gob.ar, con una antelación mínima de 30 días a la fecha de viaje prevista.  (Le responderán en una semana aproximadamente)
